Adult
Forewing length of 7-12 mm. Forewings golden ochreous mottled with brown. An incomplete band runs from the middle of the costa towards the bottom corner. Hindwings are white to ochreous-white, sometimes speckled with grey.
Larvae
Late instars reach 22-26 mm in length. Body pale green with a brown head. The prothoracic plate is pale brown to pale green with brown mottling. An anal comb is
present with 6-9 teeth.

Laid in masses on leaves.

Symptons/Signs
Larvae feed on leaves, flowers, buds and fruit. Leaves are folded together using silk and growing points can be deformed as a result of feeding damage. Scars on fruit are also caused by fruit feeding.

Recommended Trap Density
2 traps per hectare for large uniform areas of crops and 3- 4 traps per hectare for mixed or less dense crop stands.
Trap Maintenance
Check traps on a regular basis; at least twice a week. Replace the pheromone dispensers every 4 weeks to achieve optimum results. Replace sticky inserts once they become saturated with dust or insects
Storage
Keep product away from heat and direct sunlight. Store in a refrigerator for a shelf life of 18 months or a freezer for an extended life of 24 months. Always store sealed in original packaging.
