Adult
Forewing length of 7.5-11 mm in the male and 11.5- 14mm in females. Forewing pattern is variable but usually consists of 3 bands from costa to dorsum. Costal margin is sinuate giving a bell shaped appearance at rest. The distal half of hindwing is white in males and yellowish in females
Larvae
Last instars are green to yellowish-green and 25-30 mm long. The head is black to light brown. The prothoracic plate is black to brown and varies in shading. Thoracic
legs are dark brown to black.
Eggs
Laid in flat masses on the upper sides of leaves. The masses are covered by a waxy substance
Distribution
North America.
Economic Host(s)
Primarily apple (Malus), pear (Pyrus) and peach (Prunus).
Symptons/Signs
Early instars feed on the underside of leaves and buds or under the calyx of fruit. Later instars create tubular feeding shelters by webbing leaves together.

Recommended Trap Density
1-2 traps per hectare in large uniform orchards and 3- 4traps per hectare in less dense or mixed fruit plantations.
Trap Maintenance
Check traps on a regular basis; at least twice a week. It is recommended to replace the pheromone dispensers every 4 weeks to achieve optimum results. Replace the sticky inserts, if used, when they become filled with dust or insects.
Storage
Keep product away from direct sunlight, heat, sparks and open flame. Store in a refrigerator for a shelf life of 12 months or a freezer for an extended life of 18 months. Always store sealed in original packaging
