Our Unitrap is a versatile and effective trapping solution for a wide range of moth pests. It is particularly suitable for larger moths and monitoring for pests in dusty locations where sticky boards are often ineffective. It is also an excellent option for mass trapping programs as the bucket can hold large numbers of moths. The Unitrap is available in a range of colours and offers the option to hold a pheromone lure in a lure cage and/or a liquid or dry attractant in the bucket if required.
Mesh Bucket
A mesh bucket is available which sits within the trap bucket. If a liquid is used in the trap this enables the trap catch to be separated from the liquid by simply raising the mesh bucket and emptying.
Plastic Gauze Fitting
A square plastic gauze is available for use when trapping small insects such as the strawberry blossom weevil, Anthonomus rubi. The gauze can be fitted to cover the funnel entrance and prevent non-target insects such as bees, from entering the trap.
Hook Fitting
A hook fitting is available that slots into the lid in place of the cap and cage. This is useful for when a sachet dispenser is being used instead of a standard pheromone dispenser, which fits in the lure cage. A sachet can simply hang from the hook above the trap funnel.
The average useful lifespan of the UniTrap is 5 years. The hanging cords have a typical lifespan of two years
